Human Resources Business Partner - Compliance

What you'll be getting up to:
This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with the Armenian Labor Code, supporting business leaders with HR best practices, and driving employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local labor laws, employee relations, talent management, and HR operations to foster a fair and high-performance workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Compliance & Employee Relations:
- Ensure all HR policies, contracts, and procedures comply with the Armenian Labor Code and other relevant regulations.
- Advise managers and employees on labor law requirements, ensuring fair employment practices
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations, in compliance with legal standards.
- Serve as a point of contact for labor authorities and support audits or legal inquiries as required.
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
- Act as a consultant on workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development.
- Provide data-driven insights and HR metrics to support decision-making.
Talent Management & Employee Engagement:
- Partner with managers to identify, develop, and retain top talent.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Support succession planning and leadership development programs.
Performance Management:
- Support the implementation of performance management processes.
HR Operations & Change Management:
- Support HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
- Responsible for utilizing the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to manage employee data, streamline HR processes, and generate reports for efficient workforce management.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and update internal tools and tracking in alignment with HR, finance and business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and workforce planning.
- Strong knowledge of Armenian labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to influence and partner effectively with business leaders and employees at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, CIPD) is a plus.
- Experience in a fast-paced, multinational, or highly regulated industry.
- Proven track record in change management and organizational development.
