What you'll be getting up to: 

 This is an exciting position for a Middle Agile Project Manager who will play a key role in the introduction and evolution of agile techniques into our global software and data engineering teams.

The Agile Project Manager will facilitate the implementation and ongoing refinement of agile methodologies, nurturing a lean mindset while enhancing delivery maturity at both the squad level and throughout the entire enterprise.

You will focus on optimising team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team, while upholding the necessary agility and reactiveness to pivot as project demands shift.

Keys Responsibilities:

1. Agile

• Ensure that all Scrum/Kanban events/ceremonies take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox

• Help find and formulate techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management

• Track the available capacity of the team so as to help the Product Owner and the team plan backlog items and forecast delivery

• Empower teams to self-organise and foster a culture of continuous improvement aligned with product and technology roadmaps, as well as customer expectations.

1. Project Management

• Providing initial validation of incoming project requests, distinguishing those requiring further information and facilitating this with stakeholders and key management.

• Provide clear, timely feedback and reporting on team progress, delivery status, risks, and key challenges to the wider organisation.

• Collaborate with Product and Technology management, so as to identify patterns in impediments, resolve issues and formulate improvement steps

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in the IT industry

• Understanding of Agile principles and frameworks

• Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset and persistence to get things done

• Willingness to assume unconventional responsibilities should the project necessitates a pivot in focus

• Fluency in Jira and Confluence
