What you'll be getting up to:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Owner to lead initiatives within our Payments, Risk, and Fraud domain. This role is central to ensuring secure, seamless, and compliant payment experiences for our customers, while strengthening fraud prevention and risk management capabilities. As Product Owner, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, compliance, operations, and technology teams, ensuring impactful delivery of products and features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Payments, Risk & Fraud systems in alignment with business and regulatory objectives.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring transparency and focusing on features with the highest business and customer impact.
- Translate strategy into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, covering areas such as payment flows, fraud prevention mechanisms, and risk management tools.
- Collaborate with compliance, operations, and finance teams to ensure all product initiatives meet regulatory and security requirements.
- Drive projects that enhance fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and secure payment processing.
- Serve as the voice of the customer and business during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with engineering, QA, and third-party providers (e.g., PSPs, risk tools, fraud monitoring solutions) to deliver high-quality, timely integrations and improvements.
- Monitor KPIs related to acceptance rates, fraud detection accuracy, and transaction efficiency, using data-driven insights to refine priorities.
Requirements:
- 1–2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally in payments, fintech, risk, or online gaming/betting. -
- Strong knowledge of digital payments, fraud prevention, and risk management practices.
- Experience working in agile development environments with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and KPIs to drive decisions.
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
