Business Analyst – Payment Processing System

What you'll be getting up to:
We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our Payments team and support the implementation and optimization of our new brand payment processing system. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payments, transaction flows, and data analysis, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for the new payment processing system.
- Map current vs. target payment flows, ensuring alignment with compliance, finance, and operational needs.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and Operations to define clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor transaction data, identify patterns or issues, and propose solutions to optimize processing efficiency.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases, validating outcomes, and documenting results.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth integrations and system reliability.
- Contribute to building dashboards and reporting frameworks to track KPIs such as acceptance rates, processing times, and error rates.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles (deposits, withdrawals, chargebacks, reconciliations).
- SQL knowledge, with the ability to query and analyze payment data (optional)
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (BigQuery, Looker, PowerBI, or similar) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
