What you'll be getting up to: 

We are looking to hire a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to spearhead efforts to elevate the reliability and observability of our systems within an exciting environment with plenty of opportunities to influence the technology area.

In this role, you will implement and onboard maintainable solutions tailored to our specific set of challenges. You will also spend time mentoring colleagues and promoting collaboration across the department. Lastly, you will advocate for attention to system transparency and production stability. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  Work with other engineering teams to define, collect, and visualize key metrics, logs, and traces for both applications and infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide out-of-hours support for our observability platform.
• Assist in capacity planning and performance testing.
• Perform post-mortem analysis to identify gaps in observability and implement improvements.
• Foster a pragmatic knowledge-sharing culture.
• Act as a mentor for other team members.

Requirements:

• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Working experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, InfluxDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, collaborate effectively and communicate technical issues clearly.
• Working experience with performance testing tools (k6, Gatling, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Experience with agile practices.
