Access & Configuration Specialist

What you'll be getting up to:
The Access & Configuration Specialist is responsible for managing user access, permissions, and security across systems and applications while overseeing the creation, configuration, and maintenance of back-office templates (e.g., bonuses, emails, notifications). The role includes managing game and wager configurations to ensure smooth operation and compliance with organisational policies.
This multifaceted position requires attention to detail, operational efficiency, and technical expertise. The specialist must also provide 24/7 on-call support for critical issues while maintaining regular office hours.
The number of rest days per week will be determined in accordance with applicable local labour laws.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
User Access Management:
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and access rights in line with organisational policies.
- Manage and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure users have appropriate access levels.
- Conduct regular reviews of user access permissions to ensure compliance and reduce risks.
System and Application Configuration:
- Design and configure back-office templates, including bonuses, automated emails, and system notifications.
- Regularly update and optimise templates to align with operational and business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain configurations for operational efficiency.
Game and Wager Configurations:
- Configure and manage game settings, wager limits, and related operational parameters.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies when setting up or modifying game configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to game configurations to minimise operational disruptions.
Compliance and Audit Support:
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Conduct periodic reviews of configurations, access permissions, and system settings to ensure ongoing compliance.
Security Awareness and Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential security risks related to access and configuration management.
- Educate users on best practices for access and configuration security.
- Recommend and implement improvements to minimise vulnerabilities.
Incident Response and On-Call Support:
- Respond to critical incidents related to access, configuration, and game settings on time.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support to address urgent operational issues.
- Report to the office during regular work hours for day-to-day responsibilities and collaboration.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- A college bachelor’s degree is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:
- Proven experience in access management, system configuration, or IT security roles.
- Familiarity with access management tools and configuration platforms.
- Experience with game and wager configuration management is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems and IT service management (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
SKILLS
- Strong understanding of role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles.
- Proficiency in-game configuration tools and platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
CERTIFICATIONS (Preferred)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
- CompTIA Security+
